ResourceNotFoundException: Amazon Creators API error

What it means

Your credentials worked, but none of the requested products, categories or search results exist in this marketplace.

Typical causes

  • All ASINs in a GetItems request are invalid or not sold in this marketplace.
  • A search with no results (resourceType: SearchResult).
  • The ASIN exists on another marketplace only.

How to fix it

  1. Check resourceType and resourceId in the response.
  2. Verify the ASIN on the product page of the same marketplace.
  3. If only some IDs are invalid you get HTTP 200 with an errors array instead.

Related errors

  • ItemNotFound: One of the requested products was not found. You still get the others.
  • InvalidParameterValue: Some of the requested IDs are invalid. You still get the data for the valid ones.
