How the checks work

Every 10 minutes we check two parts of the Amazon Creators API in each region. They run on separate infrastructure, so one can fail while the other keeps working.

  • Product API: answers your requests like GetItems and SearchItems.
  • Login: issues the access tokens every request needs.

What the result means:

  • Operational: Amazon's servers respond normally.
  • Degraded: Amazon responds, but slowly or not reliably.
  • Down: unexpected errors, timeouts or no answer at all.

No visitor credentials are ever used for these checks.
